The service
Care Options Network is a brand of Prospect Digital LLC. We write free, plain-language Medicare guides for people who request one, and send text reminders to people who sign up for them.
We are a private business. No part of the government runs or endorses us, including Medicare, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Social Security.
General information only
Guides and pages on this site describe how Medicare works. They are general information prepared with care, not insurance, legal, financial or medical advice.
We are not an agent or broker. We do not sell coverage, enroll anyone or tell anyone which plan to choose, and you remain responsible for your own decision. Check details with Medicare, Social Security or a plan before acting on them.
Rules change
Medicare's dates, rules and costs are revised, usually from January. A guide reflects what we knew when we wrote it. Let us know if you notice something outdated and we will fix it.
Cost
The guide and the reminders are free. We do not take payment details, and we accept no money from insurers or agents.
SMS text messaging
Program description
Care Options Network runs a recurring text message program for people who ask to join it. By checking the text message box on one of our forms and submitting your mobile number, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Care Options Network, which may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. The messages cover reminders before Medicare enrollment periods, notices about your guide, tips for comparing plans and news about the service.
How you opt in
You opt in on careonetwork.com by checking the text message box and submitting your own mobile number on the guide request, the date reminders page or the contact form. We never add numbers from lists or from anyone else.
Consent
Consent is not a condition of purchase or service. You can receive your guide and write to us without ever joining the program.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies; expect no more than 4 messages per month.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, under your own mobile plan. The program itself is free; Care Options Network never charges for a text.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to cancel. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes, and no mobile information or opt-in consent is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the SMS terms and the Privacy policy for the full details.
Fair use
Send the forms only for yourself or for someone who has asked for your help. Automated, bulk or false submissions are rejected.
The words, design and code on this site belong to the operator.
Limits
The site and the guides are offered as they are. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for coverage decisions you make or for losses caused by rule changes after we wrote to you. Rights the law does not allow to be limited are unaffected.
